Uplights against the walls change what the space is. This is what turns a functional hotel ballroom or a bare hall into a room that looks intentional — and it is what your photographer and your video are working with all night.
Light the people
Presenters, panels, award recipients and performers need front light to read from the back of the room and on camera. Rooms lit only from overhead put shadows exactly where faces are.
Change the energy
Intelligent moving-head fixtures aimed at a dance floor or a stage. These are the ones that pan, tilt and change colour, and they belong to the part of the event that is meant to move — not to dinner.
Designed for the room, not sold by the fixture
Lighting quotes that lead with a fixture count are quoting you hardware, not a result. What matters is the room: wall length, ceiling height, where the power is, what colour the existing house lighting throws, and what has to be visible at each point in the evening.
We look at your floor plan and your schedule, then propose what the room takes. Sometimes that is fewer fixtures than you expected in better places. Sometimes a long ballroom simply needs more than a package would include, and we will say that rather than spread a thin rig around a big room.
Operated, not just installed
An event usually has at least two lighting states — the one during dinner or presentations, and the one after. A rig that is set once and left runs the whole event at the wrong setting for half of it. Our lighting is run to the schedule by somebody on site.

How much does event lighting cost in Jacksonville?
Basic lighting starts at $200 and premium lighting — which adds uplighting and intelligent moving-head fixtures — starts at $400. The final number depends on room size and hours.
Can you match our brand or event colours?
Yes. Send the hex values or a brand sheet and we will set fixtures to them. Some brand colours photograph very differently from how they look on a screen, and we will flag that before the event rather than after.
Do you need to see the room first?
A floor plan is usually enough, and for venues we already work we may not need even that. For an unusual space we will arrange a site visit.
Can we rent lighting without an operator?
For a single static look, sometimes. For anything that has to change during the event, no — an unoperated rig runs one state all night.
